I really enjoy making these simple black & white collages. My focus is more on composition, simple lines and simple enhancements. Although I went a bit over board with the last piece.

This post is delayed from two weeks ago. I made the pieces but didn’t get a chance to photograph and post them.  I am feeling quite stretched these days but have to keep up with the challenge . I am also at a point that I know I need to shake up things with these collages. Maybe when I reach a half-year mark I will do some changes in the direction. I don’t know. This post feels  like my diary now and I am babbling to myself!

Here is this week’s trio. I am still enjoying the sense of stitching these pieces onto the paper.

Happy Mother’s Day. This weeks works have nothing to do with that but I think my mom is happy that I am keeping up with this crazy challenge!

This is the set for week 17. These have all feminine qualities and reproductive vibes. It could be the pink combined with the shapes.

If I remember correctly, the first piece was a cut-out of a garbage bag. But I feel like I salvaged a piece of ocean in motion here. It is a simple strong piece and I quite like it. The rest are big chunks of cut-outs with very subtle drawings.

I am late with my posts. I did these three, last week but didn’t get a chance to post them. Â Here they are. I quite like the dynamic of piece #62 ( first piece here). It has a sense that’s something is falling apart but they are still holing onto each other for dear life! Not too crazy about the second one here. The last one once again looks like a breathing ocean creature. As you know, I love bubbles and polka dots!

I am back to mixing textures and colours and it is quite fun. The second piece is icy, cold and glittery and quite appropriate for snowy weather in April. The last piece reminds me of a mean crow!

These are from the week before and I didn’t have a chance to post them. Some sort of colour blocking was going through my head. I really like the texture that the cut-out of blue winter jacket rendered.
